Refund & Return Policy

At Cradle of Joy, your satisfaction and your baby's safety are our top priorities. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unused and in its original condition
  • In the original packaging with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation email)

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened feeding and nursing products
  • Opened bath and potty items
  • Items marked as final sale

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order:

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly sent.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method via PayFast.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided they have not yet been dispatched. Please contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email.

This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa).
